Boldyn Networks (Boldyn) announces it is the partner of choice of WaltherPark S.p.A. for the construction of a multi-operator 4G/5G indoor shared network that will provide connectivity to the new iconic urban smart district project WaltherPark, in Bolzano.
Boldyn Networks will play a central role in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of the multi-operator indoors 4G/5G Distributed Antenna System (DAS) covering the upcoming hotel, the shopping centre, the parking spaces and the new tunnel.
WaltherPark is located in the historic centre of Bolzano, between the main train station and Piazza Walther, the most important in the city. As part of the redevelopment of the entire district, WaltherPark will become a centre of attraction for visitors from the city, the region and other countries.
With an investment of 600 million euros, this ambitious project will transform the urban landscape with impressive numbers: 470,000 cubic meters built on an area of 120,000 square meters, with a difference in height of 50 meters between the foundations and the fourth floor.

Boldyn’s expertise in connecting large complex environments with neutral host solutions will be key to meeting the needs of WaltherPark," said Antonino Ruggiero, CEO of Boldyn Networks in Italy. "This project is a strategic priority for us, as it helps to strengthen our positioning in the Smart City sector, a market with high growth potential."
